Authentischer gradliniger Garagensound ohne irgendwelche Sperenzchen. Von Herzen und schwer verschwitzt, hier und da ein paar knackige Instrumentals, oft rasant und tanzbar teils auch mit angenehm düsterem oder auch melancholischen Touch. Frontman Mickey Hampshire hat ein außerordentliches Händchen für eingängiges und abwechslungsreiches Songwriting. The Masonics zählen in der 60s-Szene zu den besten Live-Bands ihres Genres.

Die fünf Teenager aus Graz beziehen sich in erster Linie auf Größen wie die Beatles oder Bo Diddley und produzieren einen eingängigen von einer markanten Fuzzgitarre unterstützten Neo-Garage Sound.
