This guy was on a mission to change the world, or at least help it, and I think that is the best that we can do. It's like the author Daniel Quinn said when asked what should I do to make a difference in the world? His resonce was simple,"Take what you know, structure that to a great cause, and change the world." Parker has done just that
On a regular basis it just depends on the mood. Currently most played in the car (which says something) Blue October, The Beatles, The Rat Pack, Depeche mode, Disturbed, Tears For Fear, The Police, Peter Gabrieal, Coldplay, and The Who, Jack Johnson, U2, Tori Amos, and Bob Marley. I listen to all Music though. Love the 80's!Other favorites are KRS-ONE, M.I.A., Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, Vavaldi, etc. So much Music!
Movies
There are so many. So, So many. I just saw Across the universe and I would say that it was worth mentioning here. I love the beetles so...Anyhow. Just saw the mist recently as well and the ending moved me. Period. I don't say that a lot. I love Braveheart, Boondock saints, Chronicals Of Riddick, Vanilla Sky, Lord of the rings (but pretty much just because I loved the books)...The list could go on for a while and it is not my intention to bore anyone here so...moving on.
Television
ABC's Lost...thats about it. I don't watch tv much. Though if I did I would probably be on the discovery channel or the Sci-fi channel.
Books
Currently I am reading "Education for Awakening", "Autobiography of a yogi", "Radical Parenting", and "The Moon Under Her Feet". All Time favorites include, but are not limited to, "God Speaks", "Discourses", "The Path of Love" all of which are by Meher Baba. I love Daniel Quinn and works by Derek Jensen. Huge Tolkein Fan. Robert Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land. Also the Rainbow Annals should be mentioned. Yeah, I'm a dork. It's ok. Again, so many books though. So many books.
Heroes
Ultimately God in all it's various forms. Meher Baba, Muhammad, Jesus the Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Rama, etc. All are heros in their own right. Directly I would like to honor here my grandfather who showed me how to be a man, my mother who put up with all my crap, my children who both express so much Love, and last but definitly not least my children's Mother. Without her I would have forgotten how to Love. Jai Baba!
