About four years ago, my brother taught me "Smoke on the Water". I haven't looked back since.
My main inspirations on the guitar are Per Nilsson, Mattias Eklundh, Guthrie Govan, Fredrik Thordendal, and Paul Gilbert. In terms of songwriting, my tastes vary day by day, but some staple favorites are Opeth, Porcupine Tree, John Mayer, Vanessa Carlton, and Jason Mraz.
I didn't sing because i'mpretty much toned- death, but I hummed! Haha. But you guys did sound pretty outstanding. It was nice meeting you too. If Emily hasn't already added you, she's the first one in my top.
G'day, and get ready for some Shameless self promotion! Please check out my poxy remix entry to the Beatport Black Eyed Peas Remix Competition and GIVE IT A SPIN to vote for me!!! Cheers and don't forget to TURN IT UP!!!
Hey Will, stopped by your page tonight and watched your Hallelujah video. very amazing and very unexpected to see you singing and playing an acoustic! That said its just another thing you do well man. I think I appreciated it so much because it is raw and so real being just you and your guitar and your voice. thanks for sharing!
Hello, if you have a moment please check out our new video by Tim Fox (SikTh - Bland Street Bloom)! Also have a look in our store, we are holding dirty cheap summer clearance!
Thanx man!! I've been great just writing music and enjoying life. The gigs have been lots of fun!! Its nice to play for an auduance and making a few bucks here and there doesn't hurt either. =) haha
How've you been doing??? hows your CD coming??? I'm looking forward to hear the finished piece of Invertigo!!! =)
Thanks man! Yeah I'm still doing Inimica too. We're just on hold right now cause our bass player had to go to Mexico and our vocalist is going on tour with his other band as a drummer.
Yeah dude. You did excellent with Escaping Eden. It's a great song bro. I noticed you took down Breath of Life. How come?
I hope you guys find some more band members for Hopefully A Hero so you can get out and share that music live.
Hey Will... Escaping Eden is sooooo sick!! Your leads are way tasty dude. And as always, the wierd time signatures rule!! I really like the part at 5 minutes, it's a cool progression. Take care and metal on!
Thankyou for being a friend of New Translation. Great sounds on this space. We invite you to taste a section of our upcoming album with a track named 'Found'. On this track we have liberal sprinklings of Geoff Bradley and Pete Raidel (Goose) on trumpet and sax respectively, the dish finished with Tony Minnieconn's patented vocal awesomesauce. Please let us know what you think? The track will be up for the month of May so get your fill until our anticipated album release towards years end. Cheers Shaun M
