About me: After the events of 9/11 and a disappointing stint as a Junior High School teacher, I enlisted in the Marine Corps in March 2002. I only wish that I had jumped on the plane to Parris Island the day after high school graduation. Unfortunately, I missed going to Iraq to participate in the initial invasion in March 2003 by about 3 days. After 2 years, I became a comissioned officer, and am now a heicopter pilot in the CH-46E Phrog.
I met my beautiful wife Cynthia in 1998 while working for the YMCA (I was a youth worker at the Flushing & Bayside YMCA's and at Queen of Peace R.C. Church for about 10 years). We have one son, William Jr., and two crazy dogs- a pug and a puggle (pug-beagle mix)- that may as well be our kids.
Although I'm now employed by the military, I couldn't deny my calling, and by the Grace of God I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer once again with teens at my adopted parish of St. Rose of Lima in Milton, Florida. They have a wonderful LifeTeen program. I've since moved to San Diego, California, but the awesome teens and their adult leaders at St. Rose will always have a special place in my heart.
