About me:
..I don't write from a soapbox. I see myself as a popular entertainer.
If there's any message in my work, it's up to the reader to discover it.
I am a product of pop culture, Batman, saturday afternoon serials, BigLittle Books, comics, radio drama, endless movies, newspaper comics, and pulp magazines. Out of this varied mix, I emerged as a storyteller and I have worked in radio, television, motion pictures, novels, biographies, poems, essays, tech writing, short stories - and I have worked in a dozen fields: science fiction, mystery, horror and dark fantasy, auto racing, Westerns, showbiz and others.
I began my career as a commercial artist, and had my own art studio in San Diego. I designed the covers for a dozen books including the three Logan novels: Logan's Run, Logan's Search, and Logan's World.
I go to at least two movies a week in the theater.

In Butte, MT, they have Evel Knievel Days, its a wondrous biker filled exciting time. The Harley Dealer store there is also a great stop.
The whole town of Butte is full of rough and tough history and riding thru Montana 'anyplace' is an experience. I don't know if they will continue to have them since the hero of jumps is not active on earth, however I know his son Robbie is running some great jumps. I hope the annual event will continue.
I'll write a bulletin one day about my first ride there and share. I still smile from the memories.
