Great series of Sci/fi (alternate history) books all about a WV town that gets teleported to 17th century Europe.
..Judo: History Theory, Practice... by ..Vladimir Putin, Vasily Shestakov and Alexey Levitsky...
Just finished this book and all I can say is wow. Nothing new or heavy but just judo from a Russian Perspective.
.. Zombie Survival Guide.. and ..World War Z.. by ..Max Brooks.. These were great. An outstanding addition to the Zombie Genre.
..Judo Unleashed.. by ..Neil Ohlenkamp.. This was one of the best books written recently on Judo Technique. Glad someone picked up the gauntlet and made this book. If your a judoka buy it.
.. Mind Over Muscle.. by .. Kano, Jigoro.. I can tell you it is the best book on the Martial Way I have read and it gets to the core on what Kano Shihan wanted people to see.
.. End of Faith..and ..Letter to a Christian Nation.. by .. Harris, Sam... Now these books were a very enlightening read for me, because I have seen the dangers of blind faith first hand. Alas if you are deeply religious you will not find Them so. These books are a very objective look at the dangers of Religion and holding on to childish things.
.. Kodokan Throwing Techniques.. by .. Daigo, Toshiro.. This book was a more challenging read took me a while, but once I finished it excellent although someone needs to tell judoka it is ok to use color photos.
..The Canon of Judo.. by ..Mifune, Kyuzo.. this book has made me feel like a White belt again!!!!

Not much to say on this since it is still being written. I was born on Wulpurgis Eve, in 1968. I have lived in WV for my life except for a stint in Ga. in the early 90's which I deem a mistake to this day.lol Been to College, still trying to figure out why.lol. I also did a 11 year stint in the Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer. All the other stuff I will tell, just ask

As for Judo and aikido. Well Judo is going staying around 4-6 students in each class, we have added a Wed. night class for the summer so stop by, would like some new faces in Judo, but in this area, right. As for other endeavors in my life, they are going well. I am waiting for the weather to warm up so I can go back to playing paintball.
I am going to explore my musical side and hope to start learning how to play the bagpipes, soon.
