My passion, of course, is writing but I love sports as well--particularly football and baseball. My wife and I are movie freaks rarely missing any new release and we love to travel. We've promoted my books in all the 48 U.S. continental states.
Who I'd like to meet:
Of course, I'd love to meet Jay Leno. I've daydreamed about that more than once. Running into Lee Ann Rhymes or Cher wouldn't suck either. Sitting down with Arnold Schwarzenegger or Charlotte Johanson would be super cool. I could go on and on, of course, but these are the ones who first came to mind.
In the past I have had the good fortune to meet Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Gerald Ford---back when I was into politics. Unfortunately, I didn't get to talk with any of them at length. It was a memorable experience nonetheless.
I wish I'd of had the opportunity to meet Pope John Paul II, Ike Eisenhower, or Winston Churchill.
The one person I wish I hadn't met was Bobby Kennedy just minutes after he was shot by Sirhan Sirhan. My wife and I were at the Ambassador Hotel and witnessed Sirhan Sirhan being dragged to a squad car and then seconds later watched them roll Robert Kennedy by on a stetcher just inches away. What a horrible day---one day I wish could be erased.
