Kingfishers Catch Fire is an alt-folk band, founded in the spring of 2008. The music takes its influence from various sources. The sound is magical, pastoral and uplifting; the lyrics, a blend of autobiography and fiction. Live performances combine intricate guitars, piano, strings and close harmonies with a backing track of rhythm and soundscapes.
