I was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on May 16, 1981. I spent my childhood back and forth between the Florida panhandle and Tampa. As a child, my love and talent for music was always there, and it showed. However, with the curiousity of a child, I was always involved in many other hobbies such as baseball, surfing and fishing.
A piano, my primary instrument, was not always available to me, but I loved to play around any time I had the opportunity. I was put in piano lessons at the age of 7, but it only lasted a few months. Family issues forced my parents to sell the piano and take me out of lessons. I would not have an instrument to play again until the age of 11; it was a small Casio keyboard that I would sit on the floor and play. At this age, I was put back in Piano lessons, but I never did really do what my instructors tried to enforce. The temptation to try and create music was too much. Usually 10 minutes into practicing my lessons I would wander into something completely different, trying to experiment with creating music. Finally, at the age of 14, my mother saw the need for me to have a real piano and suprised me one day with it when I came home from school. This is when I finally had the ability to progress.
From the age of 20 I spent 5 years in the US Marine Corps. I have been to many parts of the world while in the service, and I was discharged honorably in 2006. I now live on Okaloosa Island (Ft. Walton Beach, FL) and am attending North West Florida State College pursuing a degree in Business.
