Willie is from Illinois, but feels like a California native. Willie's music is fun, beachy, pop/rock. People have said that if Weezer and Jack Johnson could have a musical spawn, Willie Herath would be it.
His songs have been featured on several episodes of MTV's "MADE" and a handful of independent films. Willie Herath isn't famous, but he's no stranger to being on TV. Believe it or not, this struggling musician's day job is acting in commercials. Willie has been in over 30 national spots like Mountain Dew, Apple Computers, Mitsubishi, Chase Bank, and McDonald’s to name a few.
"Biking to Bedford" is the title of Willie's latest project. In true indie fashion, Willie writes, records and co-produces everything in a homemade studio with his lead guitarist and good buddy Rob Heskin. People either like his songs or they don't, but one thing everybody agrees on is that Willie's upbeat outlook on life is personified through his unique style of music.
