We are a non-profit educational summer arts program serving girls ages 8-18 in New York City. At Rock Camp, we teach girls how to play musical instruments, write songs, and perform at a sweaty concert at the end of each session with us. Also, during each week, there are team-building activities in a supportive environment that fosters self-esteem, self-confidence, creativity, tolerance, and collaboration.
Musically, when we say "rock 'n' roll," we're going to encourage everything that rocks, in the widest possible sense: hip hop, Latin, punk rock, blues, folk, and country western. Any music we can get an enthusiastic woman on board to teach, we want to teach it, because all musics are created equal.

WE DID IT! We successfully launched our FIRST UK London Rock Camp 4 Girlz, Spring Session camp on 8 April - 12 April!
And we couldn't have done it without the positivity and support we got from attending Willie Mae Rock and Roll Camp for Girls. Thank you SO MUCH for your support! The experience was overwhelming, the girls were so positive, and the rock goddess mentors were amazing. The West London community was so supportive, we already have a Ladies Rock Camp and 2nd session for this year planned!
