About me:
It's The Party Before The Picnic! It's time for Willie's Picnic again and we're gettin' the party started early with a special warmup event! JUNE 30, JULY 1-2 at CARL'S CORNER, Hwy. I-35E, Exit 374, just north of Hillsboro. Live music, food, vendors, and a very special display from the Texas Musicians Museum... lots of fun for the whole family! It all starts Friday June 30 at 6pm, and continues Sat and Sun July 1-2 beginning at noon... who knows when we'll stop! Tickets are $5. Rock and Roll comes to Carl's Corner on Friday night with performances by Staggercrawl and Hillbilly Orchestra along with Plainview, The Weeds, Just-In-Tyme, Kevin's Head, 3am Live, Glitter Rose, and Maren Morris. Saturday we continue to rock with Westbound, Strangleweed, RadioKing, Spencer Perskins (of Shiva's Head), Kosmic Thrills (Janis Joplin tribute), E.P. Vallejo, Texas Jack, Shanghai 5, Barbarians of Sevilla, Shane Rogers Band, Sonnier Brothers Band, The KuL, FruitCake-SuperBeing, The Room Shakers, Claire Cunningham and Tyler Bryant.
Sunday July 2 will feature performances by Larry Butler, Karl Shiflet, George Uptmore, Roy Garrett and Linda Elaine, Betty Jean Bell, Pat Waters, Kyle Hunt, Patrick Murphy, Britt Lloyd, Rex Robard, Mark Monaco, Johnny Bush and Tommy Alverson, Pear Rats, and more!
