Kurzum so kam die Nürnberger Band Willie Tanner zu ihrem Namen. Mit dem biederen Image des Adoptivpapas von Melmacianer Alf hat das, was sie zu Gehör bringt, nun wahrlich nichts zu tun.

Ihr geradliniger Sound besitz auch ein gehörig Maß an eingängigen Melodien und animiert nicht nur zum Luftgitarre spielen, sondern geht auch noch in die Beine - „Home Sweet Homeless“ beispielsweise ist nicht nur ein exzellenter Tanzflächen-Smasher, sondern zeichnet sich auch durch seinen in’s Ohr und von da sofort in’s Blut gehenden Refrain aus. Vocalist Kate and the four guys Markus, Niko, Sergio, and Andi derive from three different bands and started their musical ambitions just for the fun of it. But the timid flirt soon turned into a serious relationship and eventually bred an offspring - for your CD Player.
