I'm a drummer, pianist, and composer from Maine. I currently go to school at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where I pursue a self-designed major entitled Contemporary Improvisation. I study drumming under Billy Hart, as well as composition and electronic music.
Additionally, I'm enrolled in Oberlin College, studying political science. I also play drums in the instrumental rock band "Like Bells." We will be on tour this spring/summer in support of our debut LP, released by Cleveland-based Exit Stencil Records. Our CD is available at www.exitstencil.org/store.html and on iTunes.

"An Early Snow" (J. Goldstein) features feature David Wise on tenor saxophone, Jordan Goldstein on alto saxophone, Alex Kerr and Alex Cohen on guitar, and Ethan Foote on bass. It was recorded in the Oberlin TIMARA studio in December 2008. It was engineered and mixed by Garrett Openshaw.
"Atlas" is by Like Bells. Gabe Baker on guitar and Garrett Openshaw on Violin.
"St. Thomas" (S. Rollins) features Andrew Lawrence on Piano and Zach Hobin on bass. Recorded live 10/4/2008.
"Song X" (O. Coleman) and "I Drink Your Milkshake" (W. Mason) feature the same lineup as "An Early Snow," but were recorded live 10/4/2008.
