Hi, I’m so glad we have become friends! I would love to hear your comments on my new single “Its gonna turn” It would mean a lot to me, thanks again for your friendship! Hope to see you down the road
-Saw that you're headed to the Musicians Hall of Fame induction ceremony and show, and thought back on last year's Inductees: WILL McFARLANE! -Visited Musicians Hall of Fame's online gallery, 2008 Induction Ceremony, and video highlights from last year (http://www.musicianshalloffame.com). -GREAT seeing photos, footage of your honor, performance, all the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, etc!
Are you performing this year? Either way, press out the wrinkles from that red-bannered medal, and wear it with pride this week. Have a wonderful time!
Courage is reckoned the greatest of all virtues - because, unless a man has that virtue, he has no security for preserving any other. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. Love cast out all fears - let your heart be filled with love. I've been pondering these three words lately, it's scary - but good! Love, Courage, and Change!!
Have a good week in every way Will! The best to you and yours Always*
Hug You!! Monika -
In times of change, learners inherit the Earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists. - Eric Hoffer
Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives. - Frederick F. Flack
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. - Alan Cohen
Lets take a moment to remember those that were lost and those that were left behind. -
On September 11, 2001 - Life as we once knew it suddenly ended. In the chaos and rubble where the World Trade Center once stood, an unforgettable image of hope--
Three firemen raising the American Flag.
Standing defiantly against the gray and white landscape of devastation, these dust covered men and the vivid red, white and blue Old Glory instantly became a symbol of American patriotism. Franklin's photo of these three heroic rescuers--Brooklyn-based firefighters Dan McWilliams of Long Island, George Johnson of Rockaway Beach (both from Ladder 157), and Billy Eisengrein of Staten Island (Rescue 2)--also became a global message that Life, and America, would go on.
And on the Second Stage: Flowers for Faye, Greystone Chapel, Wake the Fallen, Written in Red, Jon Lloyd Band, Runaway City, Crimson Refuge, and Philmont!
Hope you are enjoying summer! Been pretty busy here, including my teen with chicken pox, but I say better now than when school starts, she has healed and doing well! (Me too!) lol
Several years ago I discovered African Kitamu coffee and have enjoyed it ever since. I adore it's strong nutty flavor, and nearly cannot begin the day without the dear stuff! lol I especially enjoyed some today, and thought to stop by and say hello, and to wish you a great weekend!

A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent.
Thank you for your coffee, seigneur. I shall miss that when we leave Casablanca. - Ingrid Bergman
It was a pleasant cafe, warm and clean and friendly, and I hung up my old water-proof on the coat rack to dry and put my worn and weathered felt hat on the rack above the bench and ordered a cafe au latte. The waiter brought it and I took out a notebook from the pocket of the coat and a pencil and started to write. - Ernest Hemingway
Just a note to say hello and wish you a nice weekend with lots of imagination and creativity! Mine will Finally be about catching up with friends I haven't seen in so long - life gets so crazy busy so I'm looking forward to some down time relaxing and enjoying myself! I think it's a good thing to be a little selfish sometimes and to think about Nothing but having a good time. lol
We'll see how successful I am, but I'm Not holding my breath! - Glancing demurely at my 'To do' list! - lol

Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light, Watered and fed by morning dew, Shedding it's sweetness by day and by night.
As it grew and blossomed, fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall, Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength, With never a thought of fear of pride, It followed the light through the crevice length, And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before, And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing it's fragrance more and more. Shall claim of death cause us to grieve And make our courage faint and fall? Nay, let us faith and hope receive; The rose still grows beyond the wall.
Scattering fragrance far and wide Just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will, forever more.
