Bio:

Described as 'Breathtaking', Will Pound is one of the best harmonica players in the UK and arguably the World. Abilities to cover a wide range of genres from Folk, Jazz, Blues and Pop to Rock, Bluegrass, Arabic and many more. He combines mindblowing technique with a natural feel for music. Will performs in a number of bands and duos which includes a duo with Dan Walsh (the UK's top Clawhammer banjo player) The QP, a rock/folk band, Edward Jay (Theatre accordionist), Steamchicken (one of Britains top ceilidh bands) and English Fiddle Master John Dipper. A new project with Pamela Wyn Shannon/John Dipper is coming soon WATCH THIS SPACE.. He has also appeared on stage with Sandra Kerr (bagpuss composer) and concertina genius Alistair Anderson. Will is in demand as a session musician, workshop leader and harmonica teacher and enjoys nothing more than playing with other musicians. He also plays Melodeon and Piano. Will has played venues such as The Sage Gateshead, London's Southbank and The London Barbican. Hope you enjoy the music! Will (along with Dan Walsh) has just joined LIVE MUSIC NOW a music charity set up by Yehudi Menuhin which will include gigs in prisons, hospitals, schools and carehomes. Along with that educational gig work, Will has been involved in the Sounds From Around the World project from the Barbican, which brings together musicians from India, Africa and the British Isles. Will has also appeared live on Janice Long's Radio 2 show. Recordings on here are recorded and produced by Edward Jay, Andy Thompson, Dave Newey and John Dipper.
