I write and record a variety of music. I grew up a classical performer, so it is difficult to avoid allowing that to influence my compositions. I also have my roots in jazz & blues performance, developed over about 15 years or so.
And.. I love 80s hair metal.
If you wanted to nail it down, I'd say Yngwie Malmsteen for the neoclassical work, Holst and Vivaldi for purely classical influence, Nine Inch Nails for a more modern songwriting approach, B.B. King for my Chicago blues work, and a tinge of Robert Johnson and Eric Sardinas in the delta dept.
Everytime I listen to your music, i'm inspired. I'm a musician too, but my specialty is percussion. But still, you are definently one of the most musicly talented artist's around. Keep up the good work Will.

Bro, thanks for the add! As I said I found you through the Lux Aeterna video. Your other tracks are awesome as well! If you get a chance, check out my music. I do something similar, but in my case it's more technical. I step-record. Although believe me, if I had the equipment, I could do more, live. Anyway, beautiful job! Always loved electric guitar in classical-sounding tracks.
