note: i think it must be said that the EP that I have recently recorded was done with a singular USB condenser microphone and a MIDI keyboard, just on my laptop. i would appreciate your (monetary) support, as I find this set-up somewhat limiting. also, my friends have fancy new equipment, and I am jealous of them. i want that. that's all.
I write songs. I play in a band (The Smiles). I have a good friend who also writes songs (alex kaneko). I'm 19 and I think I'm gonna do this whole music thing. I started writing when I was 16. I go to school in LA. I like cats with captions. one of my pet peeves is when people only listen to music (read: especially my music) through their laptop speakers, but some things will never change. Wow how lucky. Because it seems to come so naturally. I wanted to write a while back, but I never wrote anything I trully liked, or that could convince me I should continue. I guess it was because I tried to force myself to write something good that it just came out all wrong haha. But recently I've written some random short stories that just ran through my head. And now that, is something I really liked.

haha unfortunately at this point i'm not cool enough to be illegally downloaded but the EP should be out within the next week or two, i'll be mailing out physical copies and it'll be on itunes too
Incredible. Actually that's an understatement. You have no idea. It was so surreal. The album is nothing compared to him live. Ahhh. It was wonderful =] =]
