Hi. I'm Will. I am a local bagpiper in Chandler, Arizona. I'm a descendent of the Ross Clan, as I wear the Ross Family tartan. For over five years, I have been playing the Great Highland Bagpipes. They are the ones you see in the background, and of course, the ones you hear on my song list. .... ..Here's a list of events I normally play at: .. ..Weddings.. ..Funerals.. ..Corporate events .. ..Parties.. ..St. Patrick's Day events .. ..and more!.. ..I also give private or group Lessons. .. ...... ..Some interesting places and events I've played at: .. ..Fiesta Bowl Parade.. ..Westin Kirland Golf Resort Scottsdale, Arizona .. ..Las Palomas Golf Resort in Rocky Point, Mexico .. ..Arizona State University Graduations .. ..University of Phoenix Graduations .. ..Televised Funerals .. ...... ...... ....Email me at will.thayer@gmail.com.... ...... ..Testimonials:.... ...... "I hired Will Thayer to play the bagpipes on my latest CD "Growing Old Disgracefully". I was completely impressed by his professionalism and his ability. Will is a very talented player and his devotion to his craft self evident in his music. My only regret is that I did not have a need for more. If you are looking for a traditional piper for your event, Will is your guy." .. .. -Rick Kauffman .. www.rickkauffman.com .. _________________________________________________________________ .. I was delighted to have William Thayer play the bagpipes for my family reunion party on February 20, 2010. The reunion was in honor of my father's 80th birthday and because he is a retired bagpiper I wanted to do something special for him. After some research on-line I found Will and contacted him by email. Fortunately, Will was available. I sent him some of my father's favorite tunes and he knew them all! .. .. The day of the party arrived, cold and rainy just like Scotland! Will was the first to come and he helped me by suggesting how to greet my father when he arrived. He stood in the front yard as my father's car pulled up and played "Highland Laddie" to pipe in the "Leader of the Clan"! It was truly a touching moment and my father had tears in his eyes. .. .. Will continued to play the pipes despite the frequent showers! My father was impressed with the quality of Will's playing and commented on his professionalism. I would definitely recommend Will to play for any type of event. He is flexible, dependable, professional, and friendly. I also have to mention Will's wife, Viri, who took photographs and helped out in the kitchen! .. .. I am so grateful to you both! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! .. .. Jeanne U. .. Phoenix, AZ .. _________________________________________________________________ .. My family was very pleased with Will. He played at my brother's graveside service. His song selection, playing, and traditional dress were great and he was very kind, professional, and easy to work with. .. .. Karen M. ......
