Band MembersBanjo:Will Williams Will, is a Tennessee-style banjo picker, transplanted to Idaho from Chattanooga. Will provides a solid foundation for their traditional drivin’ sound. Will has a great lead voice, complete with that southern drawl. Additionally, Will is well known in the bluegrass world today as a builder of the finest pre-war sounding banjos you can find. He is endorsed by top players: Kenny Ingram, Bill Evans, and Dick Brown, just to name a few. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Guitar:Raynae Redman - Although Raynae is the newest member of Will Williams and Gravel Road, she is no stranger to bluegrass. Raynae provides a solid rhythm guitar for Gravel Road does some nice lead singing. Additionally, she plays the mandolin and bass. When Raynae is not performing, she can often be found helping young musicians learn and love bluegrass. She has taught and continues to teach beginning guitar and regularly gives her time and energy to support "kids in bluegrass" programs. .>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mandolin:Chris Williams Chris is a fresh fiery mandolin player with an amazing bluegrass chop. Chris brings youth and enthusiasm to the mix. Born in Chattanooga Tennessee and his bluegrass roots run deep. When you hear him play, there will be no doubt that bluegrass music is in his blood. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bass:Helen Smith Helen is “one of the finest bluegrass bass players in the northwest“. She pushes the music forward with the consistency of her acoustic bass. She is the glue that binds Will Williams & Gravel Road together, both musically, with her bass and physically, as she keeps the band scheduled. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dobro and Guitar: Pete Northcut. Pete Northcutt, of Grangeville, is an accomplished musician and brings a wealth of musical experiences to the band. In addition to playing dobro, Pete is a great flatpicker and banjo player. The band's sound is richer and fuller becuase of the addition of Pete's smooth performance on the dobro.
