Founded in 2003, The Wilmington Skate Project is a non-profit organization committed to the establishment of a free, high quality, public skateboarding facility in the city of Wilmington. WSP members are a diverse group of skateboarders, parents, politicians and small business owners who see the value of skateboarding as not only a healthy and fun recreational activity but also as a creatively unique lifestyle. The proposed site is located under I-95 on Maryland Avenue. The proposed park layout was designed by Anthony Bracali Architecture, Skate Nerd and Van der Zalm Associates and was inspired by world-renowned skate spots such as Philadelphia’s Love Park, San Francisco’s Embarcadeo Plaza as well as the urban landscape of the city of Wilmington.

What's up from Boarder Patrol. Hit me up and let me know what your plans are for Go Skatboarding Day! A lot of sick events going down, so let's put the word out. It may be too late to get anything to you by GSD, but if you still need to buy decks, trucks, wheels and accessories online, check out our MASSIVE inventory. You can't go wrong!
