|
| Bio | Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Jamie Wilson started juggling at the age of 12 when the popular local entertainer "Johnny Toronto" moved into Jamie’s neighborhood and took him under his wing teaching him the basics of juggling and unicycling. As a high-school student Jamie took part in numerous drama programs along with acting and improv workshops at The Young Peoples Theatre and The Second City. At Sheridan College Jamie enrolled in a non-performing course while continuing to hone his performing skills at The Second City and acquiring his first principal agent to audition for acting roles. After graduating from college Jamie was accepted into the Comedy Writing & Performing 2 year Undergrad Program, an influential brand new course taught by industry veterans at Humber College. Studying stand-up comedy, improvisation, sketch, acting for the camera and stage. Jamie continued to develop as a writer and performer of both Juggling and stand up comedy; while sharpening his skills in front of live audiences at local comedy clubs. Success at open-mic nights eventually led to professional bookings, and his appearance in a commercial has landed him a membership in ACTRA / UBCP. Since then Jamie has acquired acting credits in film & TV as well as commercials. Under the moniker of "Wicked Wilson" Jamie has been performing as a comic juggler at corporate events & Busking on the streets. Currenty Jamie is living in Vancouver, British Columbia performing as a Actor, Comic Juggler, and Stand Up Comedian.
