Graduated from HONG KONG POLYTECHNIC majoring graphic design in 1991, Wilson Tsang continued to develop his interests in other artistic media such as paintings, writings and music. His artworks could be seen through numerous exhibitions and magazines. In 1996, he published TWELVE TALES IN ELEVEN MONOCHROMES (sponsored by HKADC), a book that included illustrations, short poems and tales. Between 2004 and 2005, he was invited to Taiwan and South Korea by LITTLE ASIA ARTS EXCHANGE NETWORK as a musician. Wilson also contributed his music to other artists' specific platforms, such as animation (LONELY MOON and VERY FANTASTIC by STELLA SO), dance theatre (ENDING THE WORLD directed by ANDY NG for the 2006 HK ARTS FESTIVAL) and film (THIS DARLING LIFE directed by ANGELINA CHEN, 2008). At the end of 2005, Wilson was on tour as a live performer for the cross-nation production 333 DANTE (a 3-part collaboration among Taipei, Hong Kong and Osaka theatrical dance companies). His CD publications includes STUCK IN TRAFFIC ( 2003); LITTLE COLD RED (2005); and NIGHT SUITE (2006). Some of his works were also featured in compilation projects such as COME OUT AND PLAY and 5TH ELEMENT by 89269, as well as the recent HONG KONG, CITY, SOUNDS by Juicy Orange Production.
His 4th solo album, WHALE SONG, will be released in October this year.
