HAPPIEST OF THANKSGIVINGS to Peggy, Bob Stump, Ruby, Griffin, Rigby, Carly, Shortie and new pup (I'm spacing on his name...it's such a great name, too) and anyone I'm forgetting at the moment ... from Cyndi, Bodhi and Jessie!!
Hey, hey, hey!! Who messed up your comments section with all that messy code! Delete! Delete!
But back to my original message... it's not to late to join the insanity on the 50/90 Song Challenge... you are on my Watch List.... I'm watching you...write a song bob damnit!
So last night we were on row B at the Indigo Girls concert (that's row number 2 yeehaw). People were yelling out the usual requests to Amy and Emily...all the stuff they never play..."Play Romeo and Juliet!..."Play Chickenman"...as though they haven't already made a set list and have someone tuning instruments ahead of time for each song. So the Girls pretty much ignore the requests. I would imagine it gets old. I say, let us hear whatever stream of songs they feel like playing tonight...whatever they feel like giving us. The set list is a gift. If they stray from it, it's because they're so moved. I was tired of the spirit of demandingness coming from the crowd behind us and wanted A & E to know they're appreciated. During one of those brief quiet lulls between songs I took a deep breath and hollered, "Play whatever you want!" IT got grins.
