Sounds Like
Guitar, synthesizer, and found sound combine with clever, intelligent lyrics that are influenced by literature, folk stories, and religious imagery. The result shows the influence of early '90s independent music while expanding on popular rhythm and vocal styles.
howdy, my name's tracy. i look forward to getting to know you!
thanks for taking the time to check out my music. i put a lot of work into this stuff, so hopefully you'll get a little something out of it. right now i'm just one guy working alone, but i'm open to collaborating with other people to help me communicate the big ideas i have inside of my head. with my music i'm trying to move away from typical popular musical structures, while at the same time remaining listenable, so i hope you dig it!
i'm in the process of recording the first batch of Wind and Waves material, so i'll be keeping you posted on how things are going.

Wind and Waves is actively searching for opportunities to play live; in both traditional and non-traditional performance spaces. If you are a band in need of an opening act or if you would like to contact Wind and Waves to play at any space you have available (bar, gallery opening, club, public or private party, radio event, church, festival, block party, etc.) please click here
The stated goals of your project -- mixing literature, folk stories, etc. with experimental acoustic music -- are admirable; I look forward to seeing where this is going. You've got an excellent start, especially from the experimental music side ... the stuff you're doing on that guitar is interesting, surprising, and yes, still listenable. I like "Dance of the Forest Fire" best so far, but I'll keep listening. Speaking of which, your song titles are awesome.
Good luck with your work! And thanks for looking me up!
your stuff is beautiful! you often use open tunings, correct? we will be traveling soon... we should do a show together! We may be touring with a friend, Blake Reams (look him up!), with somewhat of a similar sound. thanks!
