I'm a published author, but more importantly, a writer at heart. I can write any genre--from truth, to fiction, to poetry--I even dabble in comedy. My true story, Master of the Realm, was self-published and is becoming quite the success. It tells the story of what happens inside the mind of someone who's been abused and who reaches for God, despite their non-belief. Since my connection to the other side, I've developed an obsessive desire to take pictures. I've captured numerous spirits on film and this, in and of itself, enhances my beliefs. Gourmet cooking is a passion and is only to be followed by my love for traveling. Oh, did I mention I'm a chocoholic? New myspace Layouts, myspace comments and more at Layoutchef.com

My mom, without a doubt. I watched her battle her illness, and in spite of her knowing that she was going to die, she kicked its ass till the end. I love you mom and I miss you. Life isn't the same on this planet without you.

  • Writing seems to be my best way of explaining my thoughts. I've written and published my first book, Master of the Realm--a true story about my connection to the other side. My new novel will be out Winter of 2010 Valentine deFrancis

About me:

I'm a down-to-earth, don't have the head for drama, kind of girl. I keep it simple and real. I'm a thinker. I wake up each day and seek the answers to questions that most people would never think to ask. I'm very open-minded, love humor and funny stories, and I look for good qualities in people. I'm spiritual, a lover of life; and my only source of inspiration is through myself. I believe in God but I don't believe in religion; and this is never open for debate. My attitude about life is pretty basic: always be truthful; always try to help others; and always be who you are. I'm me, plain and simple. I hate games and will walk away from those who play them. My glass is always half-full and I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. I'm an artist. I paint stories with my words. Since early grade school, I've kept a straight A in writing. I write what I feel and I can't be pinned down to one genre. I constantly change, and each day is different for me. My mind needs to explore and create, and can never be satisfied in one area. I consider that a great gift and I cherish it.

Who I'd like to meet:

I want to meet anyone who believes in a higher power. I want to meet people who have connected to the other side. I want to talk to artists and writers and thinkers and anyone who wants to know more about life and God. I'm not a person who just settles for any answer. My thirst for knowledge is never quenched. Knowledge is the only way to grow and to expand, and without it, I'm dead inside. I have had many supernatural experiences happen to me in the last four years, and it's opened my mind in ways that I can't explain. I'd like to meet anyone who has had similar experiences ... especially if it led them to find out the truth about God and themselves. I would also love to meet people who could teach me. I would love to meet Jesus and Buddha, editors and publishers, famous authors and painters--anyone who seeks to expand. I want to get into their heads and understand how they think. There is always someone who knows more than me and who can share their insights and truth.
