Windmills are man-made structures fashioned with the strength of oak and hickory to harness the organic elements of wind and water, synergetically producing the energy to grind grains. From the grains we make flour, bake bread and enjoy it with jam and butter by a summer’s lake or with a winter’s cup of tea. We are involved in a giant age-old love triangle - Us, Nature, & the Artificial. We would be a riveting Opera with many twists and turns. _____________________________________________________________________________
Our real story begins in a Golden Valley in the far-north magical realm of Perpich near Minneapolis (“City of Falling Waters”), Minnesota, where Nicholas Morawiecki and Nathan Babbs met. They soon became good friends, making much music into the wee hours of the night below the maple and birch trees of Perp Pond. Soon the villainous monster Egelloc (aka college) tore them away from Perpland. Time passed and the two were separated.

Later, the two friends re-united in the ancient, eastern land of Bostonia where they rekindled an old musical flame and embarked on the new journey towards the dark land of Realworld. Along the way, they met many good friends to make music with. Some have been lost in trees and others are the keepers of bees. They always love to play music and always welcome new friends to enjoy the bread from their mill.
