About me: Wind Sail Charters is a family owned and operated charter business based in beautiful Bermuda.There are 2 captains, Mike & Melissa, a father/daughter team. We currently have 3 Morgan Out Island yachts. "Spirit of Liberty" is the largest in our fleet, a two masted 60' schooner built in 1982 with a 7' draft. She is licensed for 30 passengers and available for weekend charter in Bermuda as well as 3 or 6 hour private cruises.
"Spirit of the Wind" is a 51' ketch built in 1976 with a 5' draft. She is also available for private or group charters in Bermuda. She is licensed for 25 passengers and is a great option for our sail and swim packages.
Our third sailing yacht is a 41' tall rig ketch, Wings of the Wind, which is currently located in Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast.
Who I'd like to meet: A little bit more about us....
Capt. Mike has been in the charter sailing business since 1981 when he purchased his first Morgan Out Island, 41' "Ocean Spirit". He has been working on the waters in Bermuda since he was 15 years old, and has been in business longer than any other sailing captain in Bermuda.
Capt. Melissa is Capt. Mike's daughter and she was born and raised on the waters of Bermuda. Her first home was on "Ocean Spirit" and has been working with her dad for most of her life. She got her Bermuda pilot's license at 18 and was the youngest and only female sailing charter captain in Bermuda.
