We are living in a time where the music industry is flooded with releases, where everyone wants to be an aspiring musician, and where the quality of music no longer determines its popularity. So in times like these, it is comforting to know that there are still some bands out there that do not compromise on creativity and quality, and that express the true art of music in their own unique way.

Winds was not formed out of the lust for fame and fortune, but rather from the passion and desire to create unique music in its purest form. Winds composes music that is unaffected by the trends and market forces controlling the music industry today, because the purpose of Winds was never to be a product that can be bought or sold, but rather an entity that exists for the purpose of being treasured by those who have a genuine appreciation for the art of music, the way it was meant to be experienced.

The four individuals behind this band have been making music together for over ten years, and although they are mostly known for their individual rather than their collective efforts, this may now be about to change. Their latest effort has been an undertaking so extensive that it took three years to fully complete. Winds present to you their fourth creation, entitled Prominence and Demise. Not just a musical performance in and of itself, but also an audiovisual experience, and no less than a profound journey into the universe created by these four unique minds.
