A2 was designed by Gary Eaker, the same designer of AeroDYN Wind Tunnel…testing home to nearly 100% of NASCAR race teams. Mr. Eaker has 30 years experience in wind tunnel design, operation and racing aerodynamics. The A2 Wind Tunnel has been designed from the outset for performance, productivity, and economy.
The facility is located in the heart of Race City USA in Mooresville, NC, (just a few miles North of Charlotte).
A2 is capable of testing up to 85mph, while allowing aero force calculations for virtually any speed. We utilize a passive boundary layer system and an adaptable ceiling in order to make A2 an incredibly versatile wind tunnel, capable of testing many different types/styles of vehicles.

As an independent wind tunnel, we serve all brands of cars. Our first and only priority is to provide you with an accurate, repeatable, and economical facility. Our focus is strictly limited to testing. Our Excel-based data reporting system allows you to simply use our template for displaying your real-time data.

Tunnel design: Full-scale, closed-jet, contoured wall and adaptable ceiling test section, with an open return.
Air Flow: 85 mph, using 4 individually speed-controlled electric fans
Boundary layer control: Stationary floor with passive test section leading edge
Balance: External 6 component load cell balance; 4200 lbs capacity
Wheelbase range: 40-240 inches, Track range: 40-76 inches. Motorcycle wheelbase range: 40-80 inches.
Data acquisition system: 18 channel available for customer
Output to Excel, with default layout or customer-supplied layout
