Five bands will take the Metro stage on November 8 to support Share Your Soles and raise funds to help put shoes on the feet of needy children around the world.
CHICAGO, September 29, 2008 — Five bands will come together to rock the Metro in Chicago on Saturday, November 8th for a good cause, with an over-the-top shoe theme, and the best in lighting and production design. SHOE HOUSE ROCK 2008 brings together hot bands and a worthy cause for one fun night of rock 'n roll, dance, and the chance to help make a difference in the world. Proceeds from the night will benefit Share Your Soles, a Chicago-based charity providing gently worn shoes to children in the most impoverished areas of the world.
Chicago's hottest young band The Frantic will be the main headlining act, with special guests Punchline.., from Pittsburgh. Also performing will be Chicago bands American Taxi.. and Danger Is My Middle Name.. , with Tulsa's The Effects.. rounding out the show. SHOE HOUSE ROCK 2008 is hosted by Metro,
3730 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL.
♦ Tickets are on sale at Metro box office and Etix. com
$10 general admission, or $20 for a VIP package which includes hors d'oeuvres, VIP balcony access, and a signed poster by all the bands.
