WindyCreek Bluegrass Band from Moncton,NB ( Canada ) was started in 2005 and consists of 5 members.
MARC BRUN> plays mandolin, sings lead and harmonies. This is Marc's first Bluegrass Band and he enjoys the friendships that come about playing Bluegrass.
BEN CORMIER> plays a solid rythym guitar and sings lead and harmonies also. Ben played with the Band BlueCreek a few years back and is a great asset to WindyCreek. Ben is a great guy and a great singer.
RON GAUDET> plays Bass in the band and sings a mean tenor note. Ron does most of the M.C. work. He's been playing Bass and singing tenor for many years. Ron brings with him years of experience playing Bluegrass for he played banjo in his past group "Special Edition" for about 7 years. Ron has played banjo with a band called "New Highway", Bass in a Country group called "Blue Country" for a few years. Ron is a great down to earth fella and is a solid asset to WindyCreek.
MARCEL CORMIER> plays Lead Guitar and and sings an awsome Baritone. Marcel also use to play with the Bluegrass band called BlueCreek. He is an excellent guitar player always impressing us with his fancy licks. Marcel is a great guy and we are happy to have him with us.
GHISLAIN LEBLANC> plays the Banjo in the band. He has a solid agressive traditional sound. He was also a member of the Bluegrass Band BlueCreek. Ghislain also plays an awsome Mandolin. He has a Mandolin recording out thats consists of Old Fiddle Tunes played on the Mandolin. It's a great project. Ghislain is a great down to earth guy and a great asset to WindyCreek.
