Who I'd like to meet: I would love to meet anyone interested in wine. I've been into wine all my life ever since I can remember. My Grandfather used to make wine in the basement of his house. When he came from Italy he built a house and had a real wine cellar which he had a press in and a 100 gallon wine barrel in which he would fill jugs of wine from for frineds and family and people who came over to eat on Sundays. The smell of that cellar would reek of wine the instant you opened the door to the basement.
I enjoy all types of wine and I'm always looking to try different wines and learn about wine from all parts of the world. Wine people are so cool. The always have a good time in a sophisticated kind of way. Not like people who drink hard alcohol. Wine people know how to live. I guess that's where they got the saying, good wine, good food and good friends.
