About me:
There are certain things in life that excite the same kind of passion within; things that allure the senses. The sound layers of truly original music. The rhythms of heart-felt poetry. The timelessness of walking through the fog. Things such as these should be celebrated, for the passions they evoke in our souls, and for the simple pleasures that they bring to our lives.
In my wine reviews, I will feature wines that are passionate expressions of the places from which they come, and the people who help bring them to life. I will focus on smaller production wines that are recognizable expressions of the land, and which are still fecund with stories from those creating them. I also intend to highlight wineries that are using sustainable practices, as it is a focus-interest in my studies and consumption.
I will share wines that excite me, that I believe in, and that can be enjoyed as one of the truly simple pleasures in life.
