MySpace a place for friends

Aside from Claudio Sanchez and Mitch Hedberg's Ghost? Well...*clears throat*

People who are themselves. People who don't go through the day stressing about the "He said she said". I don't care if you're preppy, a hip-hopper, a punk, a goth, a jock, a geek or whatever stereotype you say you fit. As long as you're yourself, I'm glad to meet you. A quick note: I am very selective about my friends list. I am probably the opposite of a friend whore. I'll add you if:
• You post regular, interesting blogs.
• I know you in real life.
• The blogs and bulletins you post actually have a point and a meaning.
• You keep the pointless and meaningless bulletins and blogs to a minimum. Surveys are ok, as long as they're actually unique and interesting.
• You don't expect me to reply to every comment/blog or repost every bulletin you post.
• You are a particularly intriguing individual, in which case I will ask you for friendship status, not the other way around.

I will NOT add you if:
• You are an inactive user. This means your profile is bland and mostly blank, you almost never post blogs of any sort, you don't log on regularly, and you are basically, yep, inactive, as the word entails.
• You post dozens upon thousands of pointless, mindless chain bulletins that tempt me to go into a homicidal cyber-rage.
• You are a friend whore/MySpace whore. If you are one, I'll know it almost immediately, so I won't even bother posting the criteria. If you're offended right now, you probably are one, so leave now.
• You beg for comments. If you are so pathetic you have to actually ask/beg for comments, then you don't deserve them. This applies to picture comments as well. If you have new pictures, just say so and I will post comments at my leisure, I assure you.
• If I have no idea who you are or what we might possibly have in common. This is rarely the reason for a "DENY" unless you meet or more other criteria on this list.
• I just plain don't like you or want anything to do with you, in which case expect to also be blocked.

I don't mean to seem like a jerk, but I'm pretty much tired of people sending me friend requests for no reason other than to make themselves look more popular. If your request gets denied, please don't be offended or upset or think that I hate you. I am just extremely picky.

A NOTE FOR BANDS: DO NOT SEND ME FRIEND REQUESTS. If I like your music and I want you on my friends list, I will go to your page and ask to be your friend. I am not a fan of emo-core, screamcore, deathmetal, blackmetal, or flat out shitty music. If you have ever been described as any of these, don't even contemplate asking me to even listen to your music. If you don't think you're someone I'd to be friends with or the other way around, I'm sorry to hear that.
