Photography

I've been shooting, for fun, since I was a young child. The interest is still there, just the circumstances and equipment have changed. I enjoy shooting in/out of focus shots of flowers, animals, and people. I shoot most often at car shows, anime/cosplay conventions, and... of course... while I'm on vacation.

Currently, I'm working on building up my model photography portfolio and am working to do photoshoots with models on either a TFP/TFCD or negotiable pay basis. Interested? Drop me a line and we can exchange ideas. I'm always interested in adding a new look to my portfolio!

Anime & Manga

Anime IS more expensive than crack!

I've been into Anime since as far back as I can remember. One of the first Anime I watched as a child was Ranma 1/2 and have progressed from there onward. I've been a regular attendee of Anime Expo in southern california from 1994 until 2003. 2004 I went to Japan. 2005, I was just busy, what with a pregnant wife and all! 2006, I'll be going to AX again! Woot!

Computers & Technology

Hey, I'm in IT, guess it would figure that one of my interests would likewise be computers and technology in general. Mainly, I just like to tinker with computers and try to get more out of them.

Currently, that involves improving my online galleries and getting a home fileserver going so I can archive all of my old cds, dvds, and hard drives... yes... I'm a digital packrat! Woot!

In General

Anything high energy and upbeat. Think J-pop(Anything by Amuro Nami), Happy Hardcore(Tokyo Ghetto Pussy's "Tsunami" song comes to mind), Parapara remixes, Eurobeat/remixes, etc. I also love the music and vocals from (.)Hack//Sign, some of which is high energy, but heart wrenching.

Import

J-Rock, J-Pop, HK/Asian-Pop, German Rock, and the occasional french vocalist.

Domestic

Just about anything under the sun except for Muzak.

In particular, I like Rock, Metal, Classical(violins/violas and piano preferred), Big Bands(think Glen Miller), and Jazz/Blues/Bluegrass.

Religious

A friend had introduced me to Christian rock music and from a musical perspective, it's the same as rock music(so I like it), only the lyrics differ in meaning/intent.

Heard about the rock'in Rabbi and am interested in hearing his songs.The clip I heard on the radio sounded good. I think he's got his CD in the local Starbucks...

SciFi::Fantasy::Horror::Humour

Love the books and the movies. I tend to like the scifi fantasies like Stargate SG-1, Buffy The Vampire Slayer(Movie/TV)/Angel(TV), and Star Trek(all except Enterprise). As far as books go, I like most anything scifi or fantasy that's well written and not too dry. Don't care for scifi/fantasy writers that dabble in romance. If you want to write romance, write romance, but don't dabble... just breaks the continuity of the novel.

Love Japanese Occult/Horror! Love the imports, preferr sub vs dub.

Love good british humour. Monty Python fan, though not fanatical. Don't get Black Adder. Kinda like Benny Hill. LOVE Douglas Adams.

I have to admit, I really like Chinese/Japanese soaps as well as movies, especially those which focus on strong feelings of humour, love/romance, horror/fear, and/or ghosts/supernatural! Grew up on old Chinese ghost stories, so guess the interest never really faded.
