WXGN is hosting a 9/11 Memorial Concert - THE UNBREAKABLE TOUR with FIREFLIGHT, Nevertheless, and Me In Motion on Thursday, 9/11, 7PM at Word of Life Christian Fellowship, 508 S. Second Ave. Galloway, NJ 08205.
The purpose of the concert is threefold. First, it is to bring artists that we play regularly on-air to the area for our listeners to enjoy at a modest price. Second, it is to reach teens and young adults with the Message of the Gospel through the music of the artists involved, and any words they might share. Third, it is to REMEMBER the fallen victems of 9/11, the soldiers that have served in the ongoing War on Terror, and those firefighters and rescue personel who so readily gave of themselves, preferring others, just as we are commanded to do in Scripture. This third part will be done with a brief memorial service before the concert, and through the giviing of alms, in this case, all profits from the concert.
WXGN is asking you to attend, or just buy a ticket even if you cannot attend to help enusre a sizable donation to the local volunteer fire and rescue squads. In order to do this, we need 300 tickets sold. The artists performimg usually play to crowds in the thousands, so less than 1/3 of a single thousand should not be that difficult; howver, advance ticket sales are telling a different story. South Jersey residents need to pick up the baton, and do their part, and have an enjoyable night in the process.
This is a 2-2 1/2 hour event, start to finish, so it is not a late night out for students and workers. Please spread the word, and please purchase a ticket or two, or three, etc. 1-800-965-9324
Please help WXGN spread the word about it's 9/11 memorial concert, The Unbreakable Tour, featuring Fireflight, Nevertheless, and Me in Motion. All profits go to local volunteer fire & rescue squads.

hey i'll tell you tomorrow morning but if i forget.... the pitman show is now at night. And it's at The Rock Church, not the outdoor auditorium thing. There's not a definite time yet. And don't ask any more bands - the pastor wants only bands he can vouch for since it's at the church now. But they are cool with ASHLYN and Frayland still.
