I am Mieke Vervloet, an artist from Belgium, but mostly known as Wingy.

Though music is my greatest passion.
Currently it is just me, my voice and a piano to bring forth the music I make. (well, for most songs, that is calculated besides the Bloodwings ;))
Many ask me about the style I make, but sadly enough it is yet still too hard for me to describe, it has classical tints, melodic touches, but what I mostly try to achieve is the feeling behind the lyrics and the melodies.
Some also hold a slight metal-ish touch (as Bloodwings), and that will be the sort of music you can except of me in the future.

Forsaken, a song which I wrote when things seemed a little less good, a song I wrote to show people that not everything is just alright, even though I always show or say it that way. Sometimes one holds many things for themselves, so do I...And for me those things go about at night times, as also a bit shown in the song...Hope you enjoy. Pleased to present the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.

Ik had in Mechelen liever gehad dat meer artiesten veranderden en normaal begonnen te doen :p
Ik kan er niks aan doen, ma er zijn maar heel weinig artiesten in de mechelse muziekscene waar ik het echt mee kan vinden :)
Vanaf het moment da ge "populair" begint te worden of contacten begint te krijgen, zijn er veel artiesten die denken da ze da moeten laten voorgaan op de muziek die ze maken, dus gaan ze eerder de dcommerciële kant uit, en de rest van 't verhaal kent ge dus :)
Ik ben in Mechelen opgegroeid, daar zijn er genoeg voorbeelden van te vinden :-/
Hey! A while back you wanted us to keep you posted on new stuff that was happening, so here's the scoop!
All of the songs on our debut album "Well Dressed Killing Machine" will be available April 1st on Snocap on our page for . 99 cents a tune! We currently have four songs available for download so boogie on down to our page :) No pushing or shoving now! Be nice :D
Also, if you'll be in town we are having our CD release party on Saturday May 23rd at the Galaxy Theatre in good ol' Orange County in sunny Cali! It's gonna be killer! There are some great opening acts and we will be video taping the event so it may be your chance to get on film for a future Ellsbeth video release! thx voor de add :) Persoonlijk ben ik meer voor songs zoals Bloodwing op uw myspace , kwestie van de effecten die er in verwerkt zitten(maar ik denk dat 't genre waarin ik mij bevond da al verraadde), maar niettemin zijn de twee andere tracks zeker ni slecht ;)
