After being discovered by a major music producer in Canada while shooting an exercise video, singer/songwriter, Winifred Adams, returned home with an audio tape in hand—instead of an exercise video! Very quickly, Winifred gained her first sponsor. Less than one year later, she made her debut in front of the Colorado Rockies 50,000 hometown crowd and went on to complete her first album. She landed on tv, set up distribution in major retail chains and sang at several of her own shows. Her original demo reached radio several times in different states, featuring different versions of her title song, “You Are My Rose.” On an exciting adventure, Winifred went on to sing at Shea Stadium several times and numerous pro, semi-pro sports events stateside.
November 29th, 2007 began a run of world-wide radio play on major stations as well as internet and tv radio. All of her songs have been chosen for airplay and each year her special version of Santa Baby is played both domestically and now world-wide! On the same date in 2007, her dance tune, “Remedy” was featured on her “tiger video” on You tube and Winifred’s MySpace page. Most of her current songs are featured for digital download on iTunes world-wide, eMusic, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon Mp3, and Groupie Tunes.
Leaning toward music with consciousness, this tiger-loving Alternative singer/songwriter with a flavor toward country/pop is sure to bring inspiration and sweet songs for time to come! As Winifred says, “It’s always been my intent to help people feel better from the inside out!”
