I love all animals and children. They are the only living creatures on this earth that are completely dependent on us. I spend all my spare time (if not playing poker), at the local animal rescues and I am also a big sister and the Big Sisters of America club. It is very rewarding. My friends are kind of sick of me bringing home every stray dog from the street and finding homes for them. Once upon a lifetime ago I competed professionally in horse back riding, equestrian jumping. I still believe it is my passion in life. These days I work quite a bit with breaking wild, abandoned horses and also working as an activist against the slaughtering of wild mustangs.
Music
My dad raised me in the industry so I love all music or at least appreciate all music. When I say all, I mean all: Opera, classical, contemporary, rock, (80's rock as well), metal, country, electronic, rap, you name it. I have a genuine affection for talent in whatever form it comes. It is truly a gift, whether your talent is your ability to play a musical instrument, write beautiful lyrics or sing them, it is something I have tremendous respect for. Alright, here it is...Star's biggest secret. I used to be a closet Barry Manilow fan, but here I am saying it loud and saying it proud. I like him!!! Just tell me anyone that hasn't heard Copacabana or Mandy.
I hate to say it, now that you all think I'm a cornball, but I love Broadway musicals too!
Movies
Well, again. I love anything creative. Some personal faves are Forrest Gump, Breakfast Club (80's girl in me), My Fair Lady, The original Producers with Gene Wilder, Top Gun (what girl doesn't love the volleyball scene, or "Take Me to bed or Lose Me Forever"), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Jerry Maguire, Breakfast at Tiffanies, Moulin Rouge, Life is Beautiful & An Officer and a Gentleman. Oh,and I know it is terribly un-cool to admit, but I could watch Pretty Woman over and over again.("I appreciate this whole seduction thing you've got going on here, but let me give you a tip:I'm a sure thing.")
I guess I want the fairy tale.
Oh, and there is no space on here for this......But, I love the theater. Broadway, London, small playhouses, musicals, dramas, you name it. It is a part of our cultural society very few are privi to. Go see a play, true talent lies there. (At the very least watch the Tony Awards)!
Television
Currently I love Grey's Anatomy, ER, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Inside the Actor's Studio and The Sopranos. Of recent vintage, I miss Friends, West Wing, Seinfeld, and Sex in the City. On a side note has anyone ever seen Will Farrell do James Lipton? Hilarious!

I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California and just moved to Las Vegas a year ago. I love it here. I'm only about 10 minutes from the strip and believe me, that is plenty close enough! I come from a big city, but I have small town family values. It's probably due to my upbringing. My mom is from a small town in Georgia and she never curses and I swear is an angel. My dad....wow, music industry, every other word out of his mouth is Fuck! I guess opposites do attract and if you poured them into a pot, there I would be. I do my best to be a good person, I never lie, except on the rare occasion when I try to spare someone's feelings. I don't believe in malicious intent and I firmly believe in what goes around comes around. My philosophy is to live everyday as if it was your last, treat everyone you know with the same respect and I guarantee, you will get it in return. Oh, and about the sexual orientation.....I want marriage and a family, but I also find amazing beauty in women. I have yet to experiment....
Who I'd like to meet: I have been fortunate enough to meet this man, Paul, aka Nynus, aka Mr. Right Now. ;) We're having a tremendous time enjoying the ride.
I think everyone has a soul mate, but very few are blessed enough to find them. I'd like to be one of those select few.
