About me: The holidays are here, and this can be a hard time for those whose lives have been dramatically affected by the floods. Our goal is to bring our community together and show our support. We want everyone to know that although time has passed and lives have had to move on, no one has forgotten the hardships our peers have had to endure, and the struggles they have yet to face.
Organized by WSHS grads, this is a great chance to help flood victims during this season of giving and to get together to show support for everyone who has been affected by the August floods. There will be a raffle right before the run/walk and all participants who register by November 16 are guaranteed a free t-shirt, while those who register on race day will get t-shirts if there are any left.
100% OF YOUR DONATION GOES DIRECTLY TO FLOOD VICTIMS!
The minimum donation is $20 per adult, $10 per child age 12 or under. Your donation goes to the United Way of Greater Winona's Flood Disaster Relief Fund, which is distributing 100% of its funds directly to flood victims without taking any administrative fees, so your donation will not be whittled down before it gets to those who need it.
So bring your friends and family down to the bandshell for a refreshing run/walk before your Thanksgiving dinner!
