Movies
Mostly horror, sci-fi, and fantasy.. mostly.. Peter Jackson (one crazy fella), Stan Winston (superb creature creations), George Lucas (did you know he directed Howard the Duck?), Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Sam Raimi, The series based on Lone Wolf and Cub (Shogun Assassin), i love David Fincher flicks (despite not giving H. R. Giger credit for his designs in Alien 3), James Cameron.. HE DiRECTED ALiENS FOR THE LOVE OF PETE! (AND gave H. R. Giger the credit he deserves. Sorry to harp on this, but the main reason the "Alien" franchise is so successful can be attributed to the visionary art of Giger in my humble opinion). More later..

Firefly and FUTURAMA!
Books
TMNT (the original comics), The Vampire Lestat, the Dictionary, The Hobbit, Earth X, Wolverine, Lone Wolf and Cub, Ghost in the Shell...
Heroes
Bill Withers (the most overlooked name in Soul AND one of the coolest brothaz in the bidness), Peter Jackson (see ENTIRE filmography), Mike Patton (a true pioneer of the mic), Angelo Badalamenti, Outkast (making mainstream "hip-hop" worth a damn), Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson (for recording "1980", the most underrated album of all time), David X. Cohen, Stevie Wonder (note to self: DO NOT get drunk and listen to "Innervisions", for you will weep like a child with a broken clavicle), anyone who takes the road less traveled, and the individual at Motown/Tamla that decided to put "Superstition" on Stevie's album "Talking Book", much to the chagrin of Jeff Beck....
