Sean Gardner produces home recorded pop songs full of simple, catchy melodies under the moniker Winter Makes Sailors. The songs are often of the slower breed, with a nod to shoegaze greats and folk heroes.
He has been playing in the Columbus, Ohio music scene for nearly a decade and in addition to the Winter Makes Sailors project, he shares song-writing duties in Columbus bands Melty Melty and Bookmobile. You'll also find him helping out on-stage with his friends in The Kyle Sowashes and The Receiver. This could explain why he has been slow to finish an album.
Look for his first record to be released in Spring 2010 or thereabouts.
