Art that wounds you, the difference between being alive and feeling alive, sleeping outside, conversations in the dark that make you shake, confessions and revelations, mental penetration, storms and snow, the sea and the creak of boats at docks, the grotesque, the primordial swamp and mother nature. The extremes.
There are no taboos left.
Diaries, inspired frenzies and scribbling down words, the smell of damp bark and coal fires, dancing, playing old style blues on the guitar, the red wine blur inside me, tingling down my spine.
WE ARE THE AUTHORS OF OUR SELVES
Sexuality, Non-monogamy, Taint, the Abject and Transgressive, anti-pornography, perversity, taboo, sexual trances, possession, bisexuality, girls that slouch like boys, bdsm, old fashioned seduction, Vintage erotica, love affairs, forced confessions, ink stained fingers, fantasies of being abducted by uncouth highwaymen.
Glastonbury festival (before it lost its magic), the smell of woodsmoke, gatherings with bomfires, falling asleep amongst friends, protective 'brothers', protests, liberation, spontaneous conversation

Of bleeding roses and goblets of ashes,

MENTAL PENETRATION
..Find my writing here: http://sites.google.com/site/catsteeth/home I've written journals since I was 10, and I'm a restless person interested in movement, flux and growth. I'm enchanted by the night time realm, the 'cthonian', the feminine, ruled by amoral nature, owls and succubi. I try to write intuitively. I uncover and decipher symbols left by my unconscious - a kind of treasure-hunt. I'm a qualified philosophy lecturer. I'm interested in psychoanalytic concepts, and my main drive in life is to dive into other minds, and the fusion between people. I fantasise about running away with gypsies, about being abducted by a Byronic recluse or a highway-robber. I idealise other eras because I feel something fundamental is lacking from our modern culture. I feel it has cast light on too many shadows.
I'm scared of looking at the sky. I'm terrified and addicted to apocalyptic visions.

My mad laughter choked in my throat. All hysteria melted into numb bloodlessness.
With terrible, vengeful slowness, a wracked figure pulled itself up from darkness, and a half-skull peered at me. Beetles crawled over the fleshless forehead. A rotted cassock clung to the askew hollows of mouldered collarbones. Only the eyes lived - red, insane pits that glared at me with more than lunacy; they glared with the empty life of the pathless wastes beyond the edges of the Universe.
It came to take me down to darkness.
That was when I fled screeching, leaving the body of my lifelong friend unheeded in that place of dread. I ran until the air seemed to burst like magma in my lungs and brain. I ran until I had gained this possessed and tainted house again, and my room, where I collapsed and have lain like a dead man until today. I ran because even in my crazed state, and even in the shattered ruin of that dead-yet-animated shape, I had seen the family resemblance. Yet not of Philip or of Robert, whose likenesses hang in an upstairs gallery. That rotted visage belonged to James Boon, Keeper of the Worm!”
