Winton Yuichiro White is currently working on his MM in Composition at San Francisco Conservatory of Music under David Conte.
He did his double BM in tuba performance/composition at Biola University.
- studied under Ken Walicki, David Tcimpidis and John Curtis Browning
- Attended California Summer Music and Fontainebleau School of Music
Winton freelanced as a tuba player with Idyllwild Arts Academy in the L.A. area and Orquesta Sinfonica UANL in Mexico, while on bass guitar playing jazz, hiphop, rock gigs and playing at local churches.
Currently Winton is focusing on working setting music to text, from poetry and shorter prose.

I thought it was Ken Walicki but I wanted to be sure. I was accepted to Cal State Fullerton on full scholarship and am planning to study with Dr. Walicki in the fall. I've heard great things about him.
Which Walicki composer are you talking about? What's Walicki's first name? And who is Lili Boulanger? Is she in any relation to Nadia Boulanger, teachrer of Ravel and Aaron Copland?
