...... .. ..Today, the entity known as "Wipe Out Marshall" has its roots in an archaic geopolitical union. Contrary to popular belief, the union is actually composed of several diverse groups, each having joined at different points in time. Over time, through cultural diffusion and the dissolution of individual sovereignty, the group begot a singular identity. Most agree that the first traces of a WOM identity can be found in the initial union of the Lawyerian, Lamourese, and the McCaulites in the year of our lord two thousand and seven. Initially formed as a small economic union, the three nations were melded together due to the common call for one military. This, in turn, strengthened the union. It was not long before WOM realized it could expand its boarders, creating an empire. In the course of the fighting, two neighboring nations sought allegiance with the union. The Lemayans and the Palazekis entered in the year of two thousand and eight. This solidified the union as a whole, and made it the first and only world superpower. The leaders of the five nations met in the capital city of their final enemy. At this meeting, it is said they presented the rival empower with a book of matches. In return for sparing his life, they decreed, he had to "light the match, so we can burn this city" The match was lit shortly thereafter, and the city was in fact burnt to the ground. Not long after the incident now known as the "Final Burning" the principality of Cestra joined WOM. Not long after, the leader of the McCaulites decreed that from that moment forth, all the peoples of Wipe Out Marshall were to love god and love their neighbor. This is the act that made WOM homogenous, and the nation remains in a state of harmony to this day.
