Howdy, I’m Kurt, founder and chief engineer of WIPTRAX Mastering Studios and there is a good chance that you have seen my name in the credits of a bunch of CD’s, Movies and TV productions.
For the past 20 years I have been in Music, TV and Movie productions all over the world. From New York to Berlin to London and Tokyo back to Zurich and Los Angeles to Miami and finally San Antonio. During that time I have had the privilege to work with many super talented producers and engineers.
After I was done touring the world as my alter ego, I decided to settle in San Antonio, TX. San Antonio had everything but a state of the art Mastering Studio. So to make a long and very exciting story short: In 1996, I opened WIPTRAX and the rest is history. I had the honor to be a part of many Award winning productions. There have been Gold and Platinum Awards, Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, Univision Awards, Premio De La Musica Awards, Tejano Music Awards, just to name a few.
In addition, WIPTRAX prides itself to be the exclusive Mastering Studio for the annual FIESTA SAN ANTONIO CD that is produced exclusively by PULSAR RECORDS, the official Recording Company of Fiesta San Antonio and the city of San Antonio, Texas.
