"Shake Some"

"You've got worries
You've got Love
Put them together
Shake them up
No more worries
Oh that Love
Works on anything
It's powerful stuff

Shake some

I have personally
Seen it Clean
Incredible
Messes up

It's Soul Cool that Love
It's Powerful stuff

Shake some
With you this weekend
And
See what happens"

"Hollow Meaning"

"Scary to me is a world with out you
All love would be gone
Happiness would leave with it too
The spring would call in and say
It's not feeling well that day
And winter would stay and stay and stay and stay
Until the only feelings left to know
Would be cold cold cold
And even the youth
Would sit around like they're old

So I'd better keep you happy
Well fed and laughing
Even if I have to back down an army
Playing a Hip Rock Clown Rapping
Break every stereotype known to man
Just to see you smile at me
I'll consider it a small task
Because I love to see you happy that much

And since scary to me is a world without you
I'm going to do
What ever it takes to be there for you
Because you are a large part of my happiness
And the extra smile to make you smile
Means I'll be taking the road well worth it
Clutch Love
Because scary is the day our lives are filled
With hollow meaning"

"A Kiss To Save The World"

Would you send a kiss to save the world
To keep someone, maybe you, from dying in it?

Would you send a kiss
To save your favorite girl?

What would you kiss that you would put on this list?

We all think we know what we are fighting for
Until something hurts us
Then generations later
Still asking ourselves
Was it worth it
Seem to go through the same thing
We can wake up from a bad dream
With screams
Or when we reach for a kiss
For that we open our eyes
And say
I want more of this
And we go through that day
Longing for that kiss
Could you imagine saving the world
With a simple kiss list?

I kiss my pen
And it bleeds
So that maybe
We wont be leaves
Blown away
In a win-less storm

I kiss my friend's bliss
And they say they love me
Year after year of this
Loyalty
Inspired by spirit kiss

Would you send a kiss to save your favorite video game?

You name What would make you aim your lips
And send a kiss

Hendrix kissed the sky
Would you kiss the child in you
You hide the cries
And truly say
I'll be OK
Today I'll make myself my own baby
And kiss me bliss
'Til no pain can stay

And once I'm entrenched
In the practice of this
I'll see clearly
What I love
And put that on my kiss list

I once blew a kiss to hate
And watched hate become confused
And wait

What is on your wish list?
That you consent to bliss kiss?
A kiss for your business?
For your dreams?
For your favorite sports team?
Sports hero?
Your favorite car?
I'm blowing you a bliss kiss
So maybe you'll put something
On your wish list
Hoping maybe we'll build up enough bliss
To offset all war
With a simple kiss

Call me a fool
But some things are worth writing for

Hey! Thanks for the nice message. :) Glad to know you like my music! If you're around I have a few shows in the city this month. Rockwoood this friday! As for radio stuff, that's awesome. Drop by a show or shoot me an email. The new CD will be out soon. I'm planning a big show for the release. Struggling musicians are always in need of exposure....and sales, so nothing's free anymore. ;)

No apology necessary. I think that you demoted me only to get my attention. You need me back in your MySpace life and this was one way to both elicit a response as well as check to see if I was noticing. It was, essentially... a cry for help; and as I still worship and adore you, I have arrived to make myself available for whatever MySpace needs you might have.

5:10 and I'm just stopping by your page again. NOT that I'm checking to see if I have fallen any further in your Top List of friends. Really. Just thought I'd pop-in again. In fact, I'm not even noticing if I'm still in the #6 spot. ummm... oh... I guess I still am. Well, anyway. Hope all is well. with you. and... your... friends. Talk soon.

I thought this was cute:

Number SIX? How did that happen?? You've got me behind musicians and performance artists? Where did the love go? What about all the super kewl comments I try to post on a regular basis? I'm crushed. In fact, I think I may even activate the "Crushed" emoticon in my MySpace Mood Control function. I mean... I'm not even on your top row anymore! And you've been my #3 for like... forever. I just don't know anymore. I suppose I'll just have to adjust to my declining value on your MySpace Top Friends List, but it's going to take some time. Maybe if you dropped me down gradually, like one step at a time over the course of several weeks. Maybe then I'd have the opportunity to adjust somewhat to this. But to go right from Number Three to Number Six... wow. Beaten out by the transvestite cello player even... But, it's OK. Really. I'll get through it. It's not that important. It's only MySpace, right?
