Widely hailed as the best all-psychology faculty band in Northeast Ohio, Wire Mother has has skyrocketed in popularity since their first public performances in the spring of 2005.
Formed in Kent, OH, in late 2004, Wire Mother finds veteran session drummer Joel Hughes joined by guitarist/vocalist John Dunlosky (formerly of 'My Sinister Friend'), guitarist/vocalist John Updegraff (of 'Sirius & Dupree' fame), multi-instrumentalist Patrick 'Keys' Palmieri, and singing sensations Katherine Rawson and Beth Spitznagel.
Wire Mother's catalog escapes categorization: the band moves deftly from one modern musical idiom to another - from folk to punk, reggae to lounge - and crafts an indelible aural experience, one that is sure to leave you wanting more. Or, at least, wanting them to hang on to their day jobs.
