We are a community above and beyond everything else, a group of friends who were in search of real fantasy baseball competition.
Fantasy Baseball Mafia is ran by The Godfather (GP in Cincinnati) GP is heavily involved with the Fantasy 411 on MLB radio and has dedicated the last 3 years to establishing the Mafia.
In 2006 the Godfather was invited to join the Paul C Smith league, one of five private listener leagues hosted by the Fantasy 411 and MLB.com. Finally a league with real competition, 11 other fantasy owners who were just as serious and informed about fantasy baseball as he was.
The league was hosted on Sporting News and was without a doubt the best league he had ever been in. The Godfather went on to win the Paul C Smith League and was so impressed with the content provided by Sporting News that he vowed to always have at least one league on Sporting News
After being inducted into the Fantasy 411's Hall of Fame on MLB Radio in 2006, GP decided it was time to finally put his vision into action. Time to organize the best fantasy baseball competition he could find into one group, one community, one Mafia!
The Fantasy Baseball Maifa was born.
GP had no idea so many people were looking for great Fantasy Baseball Keeper Leagues, the Mafia's ranks exploded in 2007 expanding from 3 leagues to just under 20 leagues.
Our Fantasy Baseball Leagues are all 12 team, mixed roster (AL & NL) using the 5x5 rotisserie format.
AKA a 12 team mixed Roto keeper.
